Amazon Spain chose DOMO360 to host his event in collaboration with The Climate Pledge, a commitment made by 322 companies through 29 countries to reach net-zero carbon emissions by 2040.
For this event, Amazon briefed the design team the creation of visual enviroments to project on the dome. These would accompany the talks that would take place during a whole afternoon, about a needed change to prevent a pollution emission crisis.
Big 3D enviroments were created to accomplish content that would immerse the people attending without taking the focus out of the speakers. Taking on advantage the structure of the dome, it was designed this amazon carton package that, when opening, would transport the guests into deep ocean. From the conception of the idea –applying brief codes–, the creation of 3d models and textures, this animation was succesfully implemented onto the event.
DOMO360, a project of Newmedia Events, is a immersive space for events and technological projects. It works with 360º content in high quality formats.
During my work time in Newmedia, I had the chance to work with multiple brands creating all sorts of immersive events in Madrid. Companies as McDonald's, Amazon or Fever trusted us in the ideation and production of their events.
I elaborated 2d and 3d motion graphics for 360º formats, entire rooms for sensorial experiences, and participated in the creations of spaces. The challenge wasn't only the design itself, but also adapting it to the projection or screen surface.
I could prove that my designing skills went up a level with the success of immersive spaces like Dopamine Land (for Fever) or Audemars Piguet anniversary where I edited videos for rooms and columns, or in events inside the dome where I designed and created animations for floors or the dome itself.
My role also covered little logo animations where I could exploit my creativity even in the smallest digital formats such as smartphone screens.
